An event titled "A Breath of Art, A Breath of Science: Midwives on Stage" was organized by the Midwifery Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Kastamonu University as part of the National Midwives Week from April 21-28.The event, held on April 21, 2025, in the Sezai Karakoç Hall of the Central Library, received great acclaim for both its artistic and scientific content.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir Tuna, and Vice Dean Assist. Prof.Dr. Nihal Aydın, Director of Health Services at Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital; Saide Pakize Çetin, Deputy Director Şerife Ilgaz Alp, Student Affairs Officer Serap Nurgül Söyler, academics, and students.

The program began with opening speeches by Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir Tuna and the Head of the Midwifery Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şahika Şimşek Çetinkaya.Then, a music recital was presented by the students of the Department of Musicology at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. The students of the Midwifery Department shared their presentation on "The History of Midwifery" with the participants.

A fashion show featuring student-designed midwifery uniforms was also held at the event.
The event also featured a fashion show showcasing student-designed nursing uniforms. One of the most striking parts of the day was the play titled "Angel or Devil? No, Midwife Şükran" was performed by the students.
