The project titled "Partitioning and Mosaic of Combinatorial Symmetric Designs," led by Research Assistant Dr. Semih Piri from the Mathematics Department of the Faculty of Science at Kastamonu University, has been deemed worthy of support under the TÜBİTAK 1002 - Rapid Support Programme.
In the project planned to be carried out over a year, it is aimed to provide a general answer to the existence problems of combinatorial symmetric designs' mosaics, to investigate the methods of obtaining these mosaics, and to reveal the relationship between the mosaics of the designs and other combinatorial structures.
The project is considered an essential step towards a deeper understanding of mathematical structures.
