The project, in which Kastamonu University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Surgery faculty member Prof. Dr. Elif Doğan is the researcher and Atatürk University Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Gökhan Şenocak, the executive director, was entitled to be supported within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1001 Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program.
“Cardiorespiratory Variables, Intraocular Pressure, Corneal Thickness, Neuromuscular Conduction, Body Temperature, Duration of Intubation, Duration of Anesthesia, Duration of Extubation, Duration of Awakening in the Use of Magnesium Sulfate in Ketamine-Propofol Anesthesia of Dogs, In the project titled “Investigation of Awakening Quality and Nociceptive Effects,” it will be investigated whether magnesium sulfate added to the anesthesia protocol can reduce the number of anesthetic drugs used in operations or whether it can provide long-term anesthesia without requiring additional doses. The data to be obtained from the study is aimed at making essential contributions to anesthesia methods applied in veterinary surgery.
