Our University participated in the Turkish Universities Education Fair organized by the Turkish Maarif Foundation in Morocco and introduced educational opportunities in Turkey to Moroccan students. In the event held in the cities of Casablanca and Marrakech, the academic programs of our University, the opportunities it offers to international students, and its cultural diversity were explained.
In addition to our University, Bingöl, Kayseri, Yozgat Bozok, TED, Doğuş, Istanbul Commerce, Bursa Uludağ, İstinye, Nişantaşı, Beykent, Atılım, Yüksek İhtisas, Istanbul Kent, Istanbul Gelişim and OSTİM Technical Universities also participated in the fair. In addition, Rabat Yunus Emre Institute, the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), and Turkish Airlines also provided information at the fair.
In his opening speech, Mustafa İlker Kılıç, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Rabat, stated that the number of Moroccan students studying in Turkey exceeded 5 thousand and that such events strengthen international academic cooperation. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özkan, Member of the Board of Directors of the Maarif Foundation of Turkey, emphasized that the fair helped deepen the relations between Turkey and Morocco in the field of education and increased the interest of Moroccan students in Turkish universities.
Our Universityuniversity's stand attracted the attention of many visitors, especially high school senior students. Representatives of our University informed students about academic programs, scholarship opportunities, student exchange programs, and campus life.
Moroccan students were informed in detail about the application processes and academic opportunities to study at our University, and their questions were answered.
