The İŞKUR Youth Program lottery drawing, organized in collaboration between Kastamonu University and Kastamonu İŞKUR, was completed with high participation. The program, which aims to provide workforce experience and financial support to our university students, took place at the Central Library Sezai Karakoç Hall in the presence of university officials, İŞKUR personnel, and a notary. A total of 3,481 applications were received for the program.
821 Quotas Allocated
It was announced that 821 quotas were allocated for our university within the scope of the İŞKUR Youth Program. Six hundred seventy-one students will participate in the program at the Central Campus, while the remaining quotas have been distributed among other Vocational Schools.
Daily Payment of 1,083 TL
Students selected for the program will work a maximum of three days per week for 7.5 hours per day and receive a daily payment of 1,083 TL. Students working five days a month earn 5,415 TL, while those working 14 days a month will receive approximately 15,162 TL in financial support. The government will cover short-term insurance premiums. The program will run from March 3 to June 11, 2025.
Students whose names were selected in the lottery will begin the program on March 3, 2025. They will gain practical experience in their assigned units while benefiting from financial support.
