TEKNOFEST, Turkey's most prominent organization in technology and innovation, has started accepting applications for events to be held in TRNC and Istanbul for 2025. In this context, the 'TEKNOFEST 2025 Information Seminar' was held at Kastamonu Teknokent Ilgaz Conference Hall.
In the seminar, T3 Foundation Kastamonu Provincial Responsible Pervin Sürgüçoğlu and Venture Valley Incubation Centre Coordinator Lect. Prof. Dr. Berkan Güngör took part as a speaker.
In the first part of the seminar, Pervin Sürgüçoğlu gave a general introduction to TEKNOFEST and gave detailed information to the participants about the opportunities offered by the competition. Explaining the steps of team building and application processes in detail during the participation process, Sürgüçoğlu emphasized that TEKNOFEST provides participants not only a competition environment but also a career and technology development platform by presenting examples from competitions held in previous years.
In the second part of the seminar, Lect. Assist. Berkan Güngör explained the support offered by Kastamonu Teknokent to entrepreneurs and students. Regarding the importance of the entrepreneurship ecosystem, Güngör introduced the projects and cooperation opportunities within Teknokent to the participants. He also underlined that the infrastructure and mentoring support provided by Teknokent to TEKNOFEST projects creates an excellent opportunity for young entrepreneurs.
After the seminar, the participants had the opportunity to visit the Teknofest Teams Working Workshop in Kastamonu Teknokent. The workshop examined technology development projects and innovative works on site.
The event was followed with great interest by Kastamonu University students.
