The 'To The Future' program, which was supported by Kastamonu University Forestry and Nature Tourism Specialisation Coordinators and became an entrepreneurship brand, was completed with the closing event held on 13 December 2024 at Kastamonu Teknokent Ilgaz Conference Hall.
Within the scope of the closing event, Şuayb Baysal, founder of BYS R&D and one of the graduates of 'To The Future 2024', talked about his entrepreneurship journey and project success. Baysal stated that entrepreneurship means creating a business model and producing innovative values for the future.
Making the closing presentation of the program, Coordinator of Venture Valley Incubation Centre, Lect. Assoc. Berkan Güngör shared the achievements of the 'To The Future' program this year with the participants.
Güngör stated that seven national patent applications, one international patent application, two utility model registrations, three geographical indication applications, and three trademark applications were made due to the program, and three new companies and one cooperative were established within the program's scope. He also emphasized that entrepreneurs have achieved significant success with Teknofest championships and project market awards.
During the event, participants were also informed about the opportunities provided by the program, such as mentorship, prototype workshops, technical trips, social areas, and investor meetings. It was stated that these supports contributing to the entrepreneurship ecosystem will continue to increase in the new period.
At the closing ceremony, certificates were presented to the participants who successfully completed the program last year. The event ended with a group photo shoot, and the opening of the new term of the 'To The Future' program was also held.
