The project titled ‘Synthesis, Characterisation and Anticancer Properties of Some New Thiosemicarbazone Derivatives,’ led by Kastamonu University Faculty of Education faculty member Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Yerlikaya, was deemed worthy of support within the scope of TÜBİTAK/ARDEB 1002-A Rapid Support Module.
The project aims to contribute innovatively to scientific research by focusing on developing new compounds for cancer treatment. In the study, the synthesis and characterization of thiosemicarbazone derivatives will be carried out, and the anticancer properties of these compounds will be examined in detail. In this way, it is aimed to bring new approaches and methods that can be effective, especially in the fight against cancer, to the literature.
The project will be carried out with the contributions of Istanbul Medipol University and Samsun 19 Mayıs University, Assoc.
