The 11th Organisational Behaviour Congress, which will be hosted by Kastamonu University on 31 October-3 November 2024, was entitled to be supported by TÜBİTAK.
The congress application, prepared under the leadership of Professor Doctor Aysun Kanbur and Professor Doctor Engin Kanbur, was evaluated by TUBITAK Directorate of Scientific Human Support Programmes (BİDEB) and accepted within the scope of 2223-B Domestic Scientific Event Organisation Support.
The congress aims to contribute to the development of research on organisational behaviour in the field of management and organisation. The congress, which is hosted by a different university every year, allows national and international trends to be followed and scientific research and cooperation in the field to be encouraged. It is expected to attract great interest in the academic and business world.
It is stated that the 11th Organisational Behaviour Congress to be hosted by Kastamonu University will increase the national reputation of the congress with the support of TÜBİTAK and will give a new impetus to the studies in this field.
Congress Chairman Professor Doctor Aysun Kanbur made a statement about TÜBİTAK support and said, ‘The fact that this important scientific meeting will be held at Kastamonu University is a great gain for both our University and scientific studies in the field of organisational behaviour. The congress will raise awareness of the field to business world representatives and new researchers and strengthen the cooperation of our University with the industry.’
Our Rector Professor Doctor Ahmet Hamdi Topal emphasised that the support received from TÜBİTAK is an important step in increasing scientific productivity for both our University and the congress. Our Rector congratulated all academicians who contributed to the organisation of the congress and thanked Professor Doctor Erol Özvar, President of Higher Education Council (YÖK), members of YÖK and Professor Doctor Orhan Aydın, President of TÜBİTAK for their support.
