Kastamonu University has succeeded significantly at TEKNOFEST 2024, Turkey's most extensive technology and innovation festival.
Teams from our university's Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (MMF) made it to the finals with the projects they developed in different categories. MMF students and faculty members, experienced in TEKNOFEST competitions, have achieved various successes in previous years. Last year, MMF Technology Teams, which succeeded in becoming finalists by being selected among thousands of competitors, ranked first in Turkey in 2 different categories. This year, MMF teams, who aim to get significant degrees with the projects they have developed in their laboratories, will represent our University in technology and innovation in TEKNOFEST 2024 finals.
Technological Solutions for the Benefit of Humanity: PROTEO
The PROTEO project made it to the finals in the Disaster Management Category. This project, prepared by MMF students, draws attention to an innovative approach that aims to provide rapid response and practical solutions in natural disasters.
The Potential of Blockchain Technology: ARGA and MOBI
The ARGA and MOBİ projects, which demonstrate the potential of blockchain technology, made it to the finals of the Blockchain Competition. These projects again showed that our faculty can make a difference in this field with innovative thinking and creative ideas. Both projects develop original approaches to increase the use of blockchain technology in different sectors.
Innovative Solutions in Biotechnology: KIDEA
In biotechnology, our KIDEA project was among the finalist projects in the Innovation Competition. KIDEA, realized with the work of MMF students, aims to contribute to the developments in this field by offering innovative products and solutions to the biotechnology sector.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, congratulated the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture teams for making it to the TEKNOFEST 2024 finals.
Expressing his satisfaction with this success, our Rector congratulated the finalist teams and wished them continued success. He also emphasized that at Kastamonu University, they are always with their students and will continue to support them.
