According to the 2024 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) placement results, our University was among the most preferred universities with a 98.59% occupancy rate. The occupancy rate of our undergraduate programs reached 96.70%, and the occupancy rate of our associate degree programs reached 100%.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated that the 2024 YKS placement results once again demonstrated our University's goal of excellence in education and its student-oriented approach.
Stating that the 98.59 per cent occupancy rate reveals the effectiveness of our University's teaching staff, research facilities and student support services, our Rector emphasized that this success creates a strong assurance for both current students and future candidates who will choose the university in the future.
In addition, our Rector thanked the students and their families for the great interest and trust shown and said that they will continue to continuously develop innovative and student-oriented approaches while maintaining high standards in education.
Stating that our university aims to provide academic success and an educational environment that supports students' personal and professional development, our Rector finally said, "I hope that the 2024 Higher Education placement results will benefit all our students, their families and our country. I welcome our new students who have just joined the Kastamonu University Family to Kastamonu and wish them success in their education and training life."
As a result of 2024-YKS, e-registrations for candidates placed in any department/program of our University will be made between 19-21 August 2024, and in-person registrations between 19-23 August 2024.
