Prof. Dr. Atalan concluded his words as follows. “The Islamic Civilization that flourished, developed and spread in and around Maveraunnehir has remarkable features. The travels that started within the framework of the notification activities of the Sahaba-i Kiram enabled the basin to be Islamized with the conquests during the Umayyad period and the social and cultural investments of the Abbasids. Not only soldiers and armies of conquest, but also seyyids, scholars and armies of wisdom settled in Maveraunnehir, one of the centers of civilization. This diverse ethnic structure contributed to the development and growth of Islamic Civilization by enabling the growth of scholars, philosophers, Sufis and artisans. A perfect society was built. This civilization created a sphere of influence stretching from the vast lands of Asia to Europe and Africa. The important scientific and intellectual works presented here raised the level of the world and gave rise to new conquests. The eastern and western worlds have made significant progress with the effects and contributions of this civilization.
