The opening of the event titled “Technology-Oriented Entrepreneurship Workshop within the Framework of National Technology Move”, which was supported within the scope of TUBITAK Scientist Support Programs (BİDEB) “2223-B Domestic Scientific Event Organizing Support” and conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erol Tekin, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Trade and Logistics, was held at Kastamonu Technopolis.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük, Kastamonu Provincial Director of Industry and Technology Selahattin Emirsüleymanoğlu, entrepreneurs, academicians and students attended the opening ceremony of the workshop.
At the opening of the workshop, which was held in Kastamonu Teknokent Ilgaz Hall in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Technology Kastamonu Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology and KOSGEB Kastamonu Provincial Directorate, project coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erol Tekin and Vice Rector Ömer Küçük made a speech.
In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erol Tekin emphasised the purpose and importance of the workshop and explained the role of technological entrepreneurship in Turkey's national technology move. “This workshop aims to inspire young entrepreneurs and academics to produce innovative solutions by using technology effectively,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tekin.
In his speech, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük stated that our university aims to increase its contribution to scientific and technological developments with such events. Prof. Dr. Küçük said, “Our university will continue to support the development of our country with technology and innovation-oriented projects. This workshop is an important step towards this goal.”
In the first session of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Tevfik Erdem from Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University made a presentation titled “Perception of the Development of National Technology in the Eyes of University Youth”, moderated by lecturer Berkan Güngör.In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Tevfik Erdem discussed the perceptions and expectations of university youth regarding the development of national technology.
Within the scope of the event, various presentations and workshops will be organised by expert academics and industry professionals. Participants will be able to learn about technology-oriented entrepreneurship and share their experiences.
The workshop will last two days and offer a rich program to the participants with different sessions. The program will cover innovative business models, technological trends, the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and start-up culture.
At the end of the event, successful projects and ideas will be evaluated, and certificates will be presented to the participants
