Kastamonu University continues to grow and develop with newly opened programs. The Presidency of the Council of Higher Education has approved the opening of six new departments at our university in the 2024-2025 academic year.
Of the newly opened programs, four are master's degree programs and two are associate degree programs; Aviation Management (Thesis Master's Degree), Ceramics and Glass (Thesis Master's Degree), Guidance and Psychological Counseling (Thesis Master's Degree) and Instructional Technologies (Thesis Master's) programs, and Court Office Services Programs were opened at Cide Rıfat Ilgaz Vocational School and İhsangazi Vocational School.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal made evaluations about the newly opened programs and emphasized that they attach importance to the balanced, planned and stable development of education and training activities. He also stated that they attach importance to the progress of our University not only in quantity but also in quality, and that efforts will continue to move the university to further levels with 15 faculties, 3 institutes, 13 vocational schools and 2 colleges.
