Kastamonu University Judo Team achieved a great success in the Universities Turkey Judo Championship hosted by Erzurum Technical University. Competing with both men's and women's teams, Kastamonu University athletes made our University proud by taking place on the rostrum.
In the women's category, Kastamonu University Judo Team achieved an important success by coming third in Turkey. Müberra Güneş won the gold medal by coming first in 48kg and earned a big point for her team. Çağla Serdar, third in 52kg and Yaren Kömürcü, second in 57kg contributed to the team's total points. In addition, Ayben In reinforced the team's success by coming second in +78kg and Open weight.
In the men's category, Kastamonu University Judo Team achieved an important success by coming second in Turkey. Tuncay Türkman won the gold medal by coming first in 60kg. Enes Batuhan Kabaklı, second in 66kg, Fırat Çelebi, third in 73kg, Muhammed Yazıcı, third in 81kg and Seydi Güneş, second in 90kg were effective in the team's success.
