The group exhibition prepared by the faculty members of the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design within the framework of the 100th anniversary of the Republic at Kastamonu University met with art lovers at the Art Gallery in the Central Library of our University.
Within the framework of the 100th anniversary activities of our university, 37 mixed works of 35 academicians were presented to the appreciation of art lovers in the exhibition titled "Centennial of the Republic Lecturers" jointly organized by the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design and the Faculty of Education.
On October 27, 2023, the exhibition was held at the Art Gallery in the Central Library of our University and was organized by Faculty of Fine Arts faculty member Assistant Professor Teoman Çığşar. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük, many of our academic and administrative staff and students attended the event, which was curated and organized by Teoman Çığşar.
The event was hosted by Prof. Erol Yıldır, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kaçar, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and the opening speech was delivered by Prof. Erol Yıldır, Dean of GSTF.
Prof. Yıldır emphasized that he wanted to make an event worthy of the 100th anniversary of the Republic and thanked all the academicians who supported the event.
Sharing his thoughts about the event, our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal stated that as Kastamonu University, they support art and artists in their works and emphasized that the exhibition prepared by academicians reflects the enthusiasm of our Republic, which has entered its 100th anniversary, very well.
Our Rector also wished success to our academic staff who participated in the exhibition with their works.
