In collaboration with Mindanao State University (MSU), our university successfully conducted the Kastamonu University Foreign Student Exam (KÜYÖS) at three different campuses located in the Mindanao region of the Philippines.
The exam organization, which received substantial support from MSU President Atty. Basari D. Mapupuno and MSU Foreign Relations Coordinator Prof. Dr. Renato Pacaldo, was represented by our university's Foreign Relations Coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Öztürk Akcaoğlu. In addition to overseeing the exam, Dr. Akcaoğlu held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Philippines, Niyazi Evren Akyol, and participated in a meeting with the administrators of the 13 campuses affiliated with MSU, where they discussed steps to enhance the collaboration between the two universities.
Dr. Akcaoğlu also conducted meetings with academic staff at MSU-Main in Marawi City, MSU-TCTO in Tawi-Tawi, and MSU-Naawan in Misamis Oriental during the exam process. The discussions focused on the possibility of establishing joint programs, increasing the exchange of academic personnel, and enhancing the number of joint publications and projects between the two universities.
