The Graduation Exhibition titled "Eight Traces", prepared by its member Assistant Prof. Sema Kara, Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Department of Painting Education and the senior students, opened its doors to welcome art lovers.
The opening of the exhibition took place at the Fine Arts Gallery of our University on 9th of June, 2023 and attracted great attention of art lovers.
To the opening ceremony; Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kaçar, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Prof. Erol Yıldır, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Abdulkadir Tuna, as well as our academic and administrative staff and students attended. Curator of the Exhibition, Assistant Prof. Semra Kara , expressing her appreciation for the original and inspiring works of young teacher candidates, she emphasized that this exhibition has become even more meaningful due to the 100th anniversary of the foundation of our Republic.
Continuing her speech, Assistant Prof. Semra Kara stated that the works produced by the young teacher candidates in this important period will shed light on the future. Emphasizing that young teacher candidates should be supported and offered new opportunities, she mentioned the importance of supporting them.
The eight young artists, Elifnur Dedehüseyinoğlu, Ayşenur Özkömeç, Seda Yalçın, Zeynep Şahin, Nisa Kumru Velioğlu, Neslihan Kırmızı, Mehmet Özkan and Aleyna Bayındır, who will graduate this year brought to life nearly 70 works of art by working on these themes Happening, Constructivism, Orientalism, Lyrical Abstraction, Objective Abstraction, Analytic Cubism, Post Working on Luminism and Synthetic Cubism.
In the exhibition, the works of eight new teacher candidates who will graduate and the young artist were brought together and presented to art lovers by blending them with different themes and perspectives.
The "Eight Traces" Graduation Exhibition will continue to be presented to the audience at the Fine Arts Gallery of our University until 16th of June, 2023.
