The students of our University Daday Nafi and Ümit Çeri Vocational School, Plant and Animal Production Department, Horse Riding and Coaching Program continue to draw attention with their outstanding performances in equestrian competitions.
The team, which won the first place as a team and individually in the Youth and Sports Day Cup held in Ankara Ahal Teke Equestrian Club last year, also achieved great success in the hurdle races held at Ankara Equestrian Club on 15th-16th of April, 2023.
In the hurdle races held on 15th-16th April, the team achieved an outstanding success by achieving a 3rd place, a 4th place and a 5th place.
The team under the leadership of Instructor Ayhan Şanlı impressed the jury with their strong performances and the assistant team chiefs Güven Şimşek and Nergis Açıkgöz also played an important role in the success of the team. Gifted athletes such as Metin Kaya, Tuna Çevik, Soner Uyanık and Ubeydullah Demir were appreciated for their performances.
These achievements, which are accepted as an indication of the university's expertise and equipment in equestrianism, raise the hopes of achieving outstanding success in future competitions.
