Our university achieves new successes with its understanding of education based on students and science.
With the acceptance of 58 more projects prepared by our university students within the scope of the University Students Research Projects Support Program, a total of 327 projects in the last 1.5 years were entitled to be supported.
Our university has achieved a significant success by signing a total of 327 projects in the last three terms in the 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program carried out by the TÜBİTAK Scientist Support Programs Presidency (BİDEB).
According to TÜBİTAK data, the project success of our University has more than doubled in 2022 compared to the previous year. While TÜBİTAK supported 99 student projects of our university in 2021, this number increased to 228 in 2022.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal expressed his satisfaction with the success of our students in recent years.
Our Rector also emphasized that as a university specializing in the field of "Forestry and Nature Tourism", their goal is to instill R&D culture in students with viable and sustainable projects. In this way, he stated that steps will be taken that will benefit the development of both the region and the country.
Expressing that a total of 327 TÜBİTAK 2209-A projects in the last 1.5 years are worth receiving support, our Rector congratulated our students and academics who opened new horizons for students with applied and theoretical training and wished them continued success.
