Kastamonu University will host the “2025 Academic Robe Ceremony & Achievement, Incentive, and Award Ceremony” on April 9, 2025, to honor faculty members who received academic appointments and promotions in 2024, as well as those who stood out with their educational achievements. The ceremony will occur at Sezai Karakoç Hall of the Central Library at 14:00.
In the first part of the ceremony, 136 faculty members appointed to the ranks of Professor, Associate Professor, and Doctor Lecturer will don their academic robes. The event will celebrate the educational advancement of 19 Professors, 48 Associate Professors, and 69 Doctor Lecturers.
The second part of the program will recognize 75 faculty members and three students who demonstrated outstanding academic performance in 2024. Awards will be presented under various categories as part of the Science and Art Incentive Awards. These categories include publications, articles, citations, international activities, solo performances, personal exhibitions, academic incentive awards, global projects, TÜBİTAK and TÜSEB projects, patents and utility models, TEKNOFEST achievements, social responsibility projects, accreditation efforts, and student clubs.
