TUBITAK and the Libyan Scientific Research Organisation (LASR) have published a call for bilateral cooperation for research and development projects.
Within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1071 Programme, within the framework of the ‘Cooperation Protocol in the Fields of Science, Technology and Innovation’ signed by the parties, joint research projects will be supported in cooperation with TÜBİTAK and the Libyan Association for Scientific Research (LASR).
Within the scope of the call, applications can be made in the following areas:
- Clean, Accessible and Secure Energy Supply:

High-Efficiency Concentrated Solar Energy Systems
Terrestrial, Coastal, and Air-Based Wind Energy Systems
Renewable Energy Supported Integrated Biofuel Refineries

Big Data
Cloud Computing
- General Health and Medical Research:
Epidemiology and Health Services
Pharmaceutical Technologies
- Materials Science:

Treatment Technologies
Water Treatment and Desalination of Seawater
Researchers in Turkey who wish to propose a joint research project should apply as project partners with the researchers in Libya with whom they will carry out the project. Unilateral project applications are not accepted.
