A panel titled "Successful Women, Strong Families: Inspiring Stories of Women Leaders" was organized at Kastamonu University Sabahat Mesut Yılmaz Vocational School with assistance from the Kastamonu University TTO Social Responsibility Projects Office and led by Dr. Faculty Member Rukiye Koçkar Tuğla, Head of the Construction Department.
Abana District Governor Hilal Buse Ünal, Abana Mayor Seda Oyar, and AK Party Kastamonu MP Fatma Serap Ekmekci attended the panel as speakers. In the panel, the topics of “Women Leadership in State Administration,” “Women Leadership in Local Administration,” and “Women Leadership in Politics” were discussed.
The participants shared their experiences with challenges and disadvantages and how they overcame these obstacles in their roles as women. Emphasizing that women can succeed in every field with determination and perseverance, the speakers inspired and encouraged the youth.
In the panel, it was reminded that Turkish women have displayed a strong profile with their hard work, productivity, and roles in all areas of social life, and that women have a voice not only in the family but also in areas such as public administration and politics.
At the end of the program, the panelists who set an example for the participants with their inspiring stories and all the participants who showed interest in the panel were thanked.
