The Career Days event organized by Kastamonu University Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, Department of Geography, was held on April 28, 2025, at the Central Library Cemil Meriç Hall. The event was moderated by Assist. Prof. Dr. Evren Atış moderated the event, and successful names shared their experiences with students.
Firstly, Merve Mollamehmetoğlu Keleş, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bütem Metal Company, talked about her journey in business life as a woman in the industrial sector and her challenges. Keleş shared with the participants the process of overcoming the obstacles faced by women in the business world and her leadership experiences.
Ebru Üstek, the owner of an advertising agency, gave a speech titled “The future of advertising: How artificial intelligence is revolutionizing the industry.” She explained the latest developments in digital advertising and how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing the industry. Üstek discussed the impact of artificial intelligence on advertising strategies and innovations in this field in detail.
Finally, businesswoman Fulya Gürman, in her speech titled “The Road from White Collar to the Field,” talked about her experiences in the business world and how a white-collar worker can adapt to the work in the field. Gürman emphasized the importance of gaining experience in different fields in the business world.
After the speeches, a plaque presentation ceremony was held.
Firstly, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Serhat Yılmaz, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, was invited to the stage to present the plaque to Merve Mollamehmetoğlu Keleş. Then, Prof. Dr. Fatma Zehra Pattabanoğlu, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, was invited to the stage to present the plaque to Ebru Üstek. Finally, Prof. Dr. Ekrem Mutlu, Head of the Geography Department, was invited to the stage to present Fulya Gürman with her plaque.
