The vocal and piano concert titled “A Thousand Voices, One Emotion,” featuring guest lecturers Esma Gizem Kırmızıand İlhame Kamilkızı from the Department of Musicology at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FSD), was held at the Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Cultural Center.
The concert offered the audience a rich musical journey through various works from different cultures and historical periods. The repertoire spanned from the Baroque period to Romanticism, from Neapolitan songs to Latin melodies, from piano compositions to the elegant sounds of Turkish and Azerbaijani music.
Accompanied by piano, a total of 11 pieces were performed, along with two solo piano works. This unique program, reflecting influences from various geographies, gave listeners an unforgettable musical experience. The concert highlighted a universal understanding of music and demonstrated how compositions from different cultures can unite around shared emotions.
