In cooperation with Araç Rafet Vergili Vocational School, two information meetings about Kastamonu Technopolis and Kastamonu University Technology Transfer Office (TTO) were held on 7 January 2025.
In the meetings, detailed information was given about the offices in Kastamonu Technopolis and KÜ TTO and the services offered by these offices.
Firstly, in the meeting organized for academicians, the services offered by the Kastamonu Technopolis and TTO offices were introduced. In addition, consultations were held about possible collaborations with these offices.
Vocational School Director Assoc attended the meeting. Prof. Dr. Emre Birinci, Kastamonu Teknokent / KÜ TTO General Manager Prof. Dr. Alperen Kaymakcı, ÜSİM Coordinator from KÜ TTO Lecturer. Assist. Tuba Külçe, Patent/Project Support Office Coordinator Lect. Assist. Mehmet Fırat Olgun and Administrative and Financial Affairs Coordinator Lect. Assist. Kazım Yasin Özbey attended.
On the same day, a second meeting was organized for students. In this meeting, students were informed about the opportunities offered by Teknokent and TTO in terms of entrepreneurship and the maturation of new ideas. In addition, students were informed about application processes such as patents, trademarks, and utility models to protect their ideas. The same names attended this meeting and told the students about various supports.
