Research Assist. Assist. Prof. Dr. Şafak Aktemur, with the participation of aviation management students, the social responsibility project 'A Life as Unhindered as the Sky' offered an unforgettable experience to students and participants.
The event adopted a recycling-oriented approach with the support of Prof. Dr. Engin Kanbur, Director of the School. Students presented toy airplanes made from used cardboard and knitted bracelets made with their hand skills to individuals with special needs.
Within the project's scope, an aircraft painting activity was also organized to increase interest in aviation. Question-answer activities were held to strengthen communication, and aircraft introductions were made. To spend time with children, a cartoon-watching activity was organized.
Project participants stated that this kind of work will continue.
