The "Enhancing the Quality of TÜBİTAK 2209 Projects for University Students with a Focus on Specialization-II" training, organized under the coordination of Dr. Mehmet Karamanoğlu, a faculty member of Tosya Vocational School's Department of Material and Material Processing Technologies, took place between October 14-17, 2024. The training was supported by the 2237-A Scientific Education Activities Program of the TÜBİTAK Scientist Support Programs Directorate (BİDEB).
The project aimed to bring together instructors from various provinces of Turkey with undergraduate and associate degree students, offering insights into improving the quality of TÜBİTAK 2209 projects with a focus on specialization.
Throughout the program, expert teams provided students with detailed training on TÜBİTAK projects, funding principles, and project writing techniques. Mentorship sessions were also conducted, during which each student prepared their own 2209 project. Additionally, a panel session was held to allow students to receive peer review evaluations of their projects before submission.
Theoretical lessons and mentoring sessions were held at the Kastamonu Technopark training and conference halls.
The training concluded with a certificate ceremony.
