Kastamonu University Faculty of Forestry, Forest Engineering and Forest Industrial Engineering Department held the "Specialization-Focused Student Projects Science Festival" event organized among senior students.
At the event organized within the scope of the project courses, the presentations of the students were evaluated by the faculty members of the Faculty of Forestry. The awards for the students who received the highest scores and were deemed worthy of first, second and third place were announced by Assistant Professor Özkan Evcin, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Forestry. The awards were given respectively by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Prof. Dr. Erol Akkuzu, Head of Forest Engineering Department Prof. Dr. Fatih Sivrikaya Assoc.Prof. Dr. Alperen Kaymakcı, Head of the Forest Industrial Engineering Department, and Erkan Gazibeyoğlu, Head of the Western Black Sea Branch of the Chamber of Forestry Engineers.
Seda Nur Atak, who worked with Advisor Assoc.Prof.Dr. Esra Nurten Yer Çelik in the Department of Forest Engineering, and Mustafa Kavaklı won the first prize with the work under the direction of Advisor Assoc.Prof.Dr. Alperen Kaymakcı in the Department of Forest Industrial Engineering. The second place was taken by Sude Tüysüzoğlu under the consultancy of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Gonca Ece Özcan and Orhan Uce under the consultancy of Assistant Professor Tutku Birinci.
According to the evaluation results of the poster presentations, Nisanur İspirli from the Department of Forestry Engineering under the supervision of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Gamze Savacı and Furkan Gencer from the Department of Forest Industrial Engineering under the supervision of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Osman Emre Özkan were deemed worthy of the third prize.
