The students of the Civil Aviation School of our University attended the IFTE fair held at Atatürk Airport on 2nd -4th June 2023, which was organized to follow the latest developments and opportunities in the civil aviation sector and to promote our University.
The IFTE fair which was organized to increase the awareness of the institutions and organizations serving in the sector at the international level, to prepare the ground for cooperation, to provide all detailed information about aviation training to the end user, and to inform you about the developments and opportunities in the sector, hosted a large number of participants and visitors this year.
Flight training and type training organizations, spare parts suppliers, maintenance-repair companies, piston engine aircraft manufacturers, simulator production companies, aviation academy institutions, flight equipment providers, aviation media organizations, broker companies and many company representatives in the aviation industry attended the fair. A total of 103 participants, 63 of which were Turkish companies, took part in the IFTE fair, which lasted for three days. In addition, the fair hosted the number of 10473 domestic and foreign visitors. The director of the School of Civil Aviation of our university, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Engin Kanbur stated that it is very important for their careers for our aviation students to be in an important organization such as IFTE, to follow the future innovations of the sector closely and to exchange views with experts in their fields, and stated that they will closely follow the developments in the sector.
