The president of the Turkish Education, Teaching, and Science Services Workers' Union (Türk Eğitim-Sen) Kastamonu Branch, Nedim Afacan, along with Vice President Ayhan Avanoğlu and University Representatives Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zehra Esra Ketenoğlu Kayabaşı, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emine Karasu Avcı, Assist.Prof.Dr. Osman Eroğlu and Administrative Staff Recep Tokat visited our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal in his office on May 8, 2025.
During the visit, an exchange of views was held on potential joint projects between our University and the Turkish Education Union, as well as the expectations of educational staff.
Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, our Rector thanked Turkish Education-Sen Kastamonu Branch President Nedim Afacan and the accompanying delegation, stating that they find the Union's activities aimed at education employees important.
Turkish Education-Sen Branch President Nedim Afacan emphasized that they are open to all kinds of constructive cooperation aimed at improving the quality of education. He thanked our Rector for the interest and hospitality shown.
