On May 7, 2025, our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük, and our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, made a visit to the office of İlker Astarcı, President of the Turkish National Agency.
During the visit, potential collaboration opportunities between institutions under the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programs were discussed. The international projects of Kastamonu University, joint project applications related to student and staff mobility, and the exchange of ideas on new collaborations were discussed.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, mentioned the contributions of the Turkish National Agency to the internationalization vision of higher education institutions and thanked President İlker Astarcı for his hospitality and constructive evaluations. He expressed his belief that the current collaboration would become even stronger in the future.
The President of the Turkish National Agency, İlker Astarcı, stated that the efforts of universities to increase their capacity to produce international projects are valuable and expressed that they closely follow and support Kastamonu University's efforts in this area. Additionally, he thanked our Rector and the accompanying Vice Rector for their kind visit.
