The results of the fourth term application of the University Student Societies Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES) were announced by the General Directorate of Youth Services of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Kastamonu University student communities prepared 44 projects that were entitled to receive support. With this result, our University continued its success by ranking 3rd among the universities in Turkey.
According to the application results of the fourth term of the UNIDES program, our University again attracted attention with its innovative and cooperation-oriented projects. The projects deemed worthy of support will enable young people to realize their creative ideas and produce social benefits.
Supported projects include environment and sustainability-oriented projects; social awareness and social responsibility projects; innovative projects in the fields of science, technology, and engineering; projects to improve health and quality of life; art, culture, and literature studies; activities promoting sports and active life; and projects focusing on economy, finance, and career development.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated that the UNIDES program aims to support young people to assume more active roles in academic, social, and cultural fields and emphasized that the projects of our University will continue to contribute to these goals.
