Kastamonu University Senate Meeting was held at the Senate Hall of our University under the chairmanship of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal. Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan, Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük, Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı, and members of the senate attended the meeting.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal stated that the project culture is gradually developing within our University and that the academic and scientific achievements achieved in the recent period have been accumulating and increasing. Our Rector thanked all our academic and administrative staff who contributed and emphasized that our University continues to grow its effectiveness in national and international projects.
In the agenda of the meeting, an informative presentation was made about the 2024-1st Term 2209-A University Students Research Projects supported by TÜBİTAK. It was stated that the active participation of students in scientific research processes within the program's scope contributes to our University's academic vision.
In addition, an analysis presentation on the labor market performance of Kastamonu University graduates was also shared at the meeting. The data obtained on topics such as the employment status of graduates, sectoral distribution, and the duration of finding a job after graduation were evaluated in detail with the members of the senate.
The meeting ended with the decisions taken after discussing the agenda items.
