Kastamonu University continues to make a name for itself with its achievements in the 2025 Asian Universities Ranking published by Times Higher Education (THE). Our university remained in the 601+ band in the THE Asian Universities general rankings. The remarkable success of our university was in the general ranking of Turkey. Our university continued its success by ranking 35th in Turkey.
Kastamonu University achieved a remarkable success and became one of the leading higher education institutions in Asia in the 2025 Asian Universities Ranking published by Times Higher Education (THE), which evaluates and ranks higher education institutions internationally.
Kastamonu University was among the 91 universities from Turkey
Kastamonu University, which was selected among 1213 universities from 35 countries across Asia, was among the 91 universities from Turkey that managed to enter the ranking this year. Drawing attention with its academic achievements, research capacity, and international collaborations, our university maintained its place in Turkey's ranking.

Emphasizing that this success in THE Asian Universities Ranking results from the devoted work of our academic and administrative staff and students, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, thanked all Kastamonu University members and students who contributed to this success. Stating that the success graph is increasing yearly with the quality of education and experienced staff, our Rector said, "This success is not just a ranking; it is a concrete reflection of our qualified education, scientific productivity, and global vision. Our goal is higher achievements and a stronger international position."

The ranking contributes to defining and measuring excellence in higher education and establishes the global standing of universities in Asia.
