Kastamonu University Senate Meeting was held in the Senate Hall of our University under the chairmanship of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal. Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan, Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük and Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı, as well as Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Demirbaş and members of the senate attended the meeting.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, wished the month of Ramadan to be auspicious and evaluated the goals and priorities of our University for 2025. Our Rector emphasized the importance of the work carried out to improve academic and administrative processes.
In addition, our Rector congratulated the newly appointed Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı, at the opening of the meeting. Stating that he believes Prof. Dr. Kaymakcı will contribute to our University, our Rector wished him success.
At the meeting, academic performance data for 2024 were presented by various academic units of our University, and discussions were held on future strategies. Participants exchanged ideas on what needs to be done in line with the future goals of our University.
The Senate meeting ended after discussing the agenda items and the decisions taken.
