A delegation consisting of Talat Yavuz, Secretary General of the Union of Educators (Eğitim-Bir-Sen), Muammer Karaman, Vice President, Orhan Sancaktaroğlu, President of the Kastamonu Branch of Eğitim-Bir-Sen and members of the union's executive board visited our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal in his office on February 27, 2025.
Within the scope of the visit, they exchanged views on union activities and developments in higher education, especially education and academic studies. The delegation of Eğitim-Bir-Sen shared their evaluations on the working conditions of academic and administrative staff, cooperation opportunities, and education policies with our Rector.
Our Rector expressed his satisfaction with the visit and stated that they attach importance to all kinds of work carried out for the development of our University's academic and administrative staff. Stating that union activities play an essential role in expressing the needs of the education community and producing solutions, our Rector emphasized that our University will continue its efforts to increase the quality of education and support academic success.
The meeting ended after a photo shoot to commemorate the day.
