Kastamonu University and İnebolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office signed a cooperation protocol to increase probation services' effectiveness and realize projects that will benefit society.
At the signing ceremony held in the Rectorate office, the protocol was signed by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, and İnebolu Chief Public Prosecutor Ufuk Turan.
Within the protocol's scope, it aims to reintegrate individuals benefiting from probation into society. In this direction, programs such as individual counseling, group therapies, art and sports activities will be implemented. In addition, our university's academic and scientific knowledge will ensure individuals' participation in educational processes, support them in gaining professional skills, and contribute to their psychosocial development. The activities to be carried out aim to accelerate individuals' adaptation processes to society and facilitate their integration into social life.
During the ceremony, it was emphasized that the cooperation will contribute to rehabilitating individuals benefiting from probation, and the protocol is a step that supports social recovery.
