Kastamonu University Senate convened on February 13, 2025, at the Senate Hall of our University under the chairmanship of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal. Academic and administrative processes were evaluated at the meeting held before the spring semester.
Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan and Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük, Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Demirbaş and senate members attended the meeting chaired by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, our Rector mentioned the goals and priorities for the year 2025 and wished the new academic semester to be successful for the community of our University. Emphasizing the importance of the work carried out to improve educational and administrative processes; our Rector evaluated the steps to be taken to strengthen the position of our University in the national and international arena.
Academic performance data for 2024 and strategies for the next period were discussed at the meeting. Scientific publications, projects, educational incentives, and success rates were evaluated in detail within the scope of “UNIS 2024 Academic Performance Report” and “Kastamonu University 2024 Target Activity Indicators Annual Analysis Report” presented by Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük.
The meeting ended with a discussion of the agenda items.
