An "Institutional Stakeholder Cooperation Protocol" was signed between Kastamonu University and Karabük University (KBÜ) as part of the Social Sciences Festival (Sosyalfest) organized by Karabük University.
On February 4, 2025, Karabük University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık visited our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal. During the meeting, discussions were held on developing academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation between the two universities. Special emphasis was placed on potential joint projects within the scope of Sosyalfest, and various evaluations were made.
Following the meeting, the Institutional Stakeholder Cooperation Protocol was signed by KBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık and our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal. With this protocol, our university officially became one of the institutional stakeholders of Sosyalfest.
The protocol includes contributions from institutional stakeholders, including our university, in the form of implementation support, field support, communication, and promotional support, as well as financial and funding support for the festival.
Karabük University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration between the universities and emphasized the academic and social contributions of Sosyalfest. He also thanked our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, for his hospitality and warm welcome.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, highlighted the importance of academic solidarity between the two universities and expressed his gratitude to the Rector, Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık, for his visit. Following the signing ceremony, both rectors wished for a fruitful collaboration and exchanged mutual good wishes.
