Seven more programs affiliated with Kastamonu University have gained the right to use the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) logo on their graduation certificates. In line with the decision taken at the 48th Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) Board meeting held on December 20, 2024, these programs, which reflect the quality-oriented education approach of our University, have gained international recognition.
Among the programs entitled to use the TQF logo are Physical Education and Sports Teaching within the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Mathematics, and Biology programs within the Faculty of Science, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts and Tourism Guidance programs from the Faculty of Tourism, Business Administration program from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and History program affiliated to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Using the TQF logo on their graduation certificates, these programs will be internationally recognized and offer their graduates broader career and educational opportunities.
Number of Programs with the Right to Use the TQF Logo Increased to Eight
Last year, the Radio, Television, and Cinema program within the Faculty of Communication gained the right to use the TQF logo. With the latest development, the number of programs that have achieved this at Kastamonu University has increased to eight.
Commenting on the issue, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated that they care about increasing the international recognition of our University and raising students as globally competitive individuals. Stating that the TQF logo will contribute to the education and career lives of graduates by giving international validity to their diplomas, our Rector thanked Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak, President of the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK), YÖK members and all academic and administrative staff who contributed to the process.
The use of the TQF logo on graduation certificates will be realized within the Procedures and Principles for the Use of the Turkish Qualifications Framework Logo on Higher Education Graduation Certificates. This step contributes to the internationalization vision of our University and allows our students to access a broader range of career opportunities at the global level.
