Kastamonu University Senate held its last meeting of 2024 under the chairmanship of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal. Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan and Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük, Secretary General V. Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Demirbaş, and senate members attended the meeting held in the University Senate Hall.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, evaluated the activities carried out by Kastamonu University in the fields of education training, research development, quality studies, and social responsibility projects throughout 2024.
Stating that significant progress has been made in academic and administrative processes in line with the quality-oriented approach of our University, our Rector emphasized that raising quality standards in all units is one of the priority goals throughout 2025.
Our Rector drew attention to the efforts of our University to increase its national and international achievements and stated that it is moving towards its 2025 targets with determination. He also said they continue contributing to sustainable development in various ways, from scientific research to social responsibility projects.
In his speech, our Rector, who also conveyed his condolences to our academicians and administrative staff who lost their lives in 2024, expressed the sorrow of our university community for these losses and asked God to bless his colleagues who passed away.
