Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, received the team of the film ‘Loop,’ which won the Special Jury Award in the category of ‘Cinema Schools Student Films’ at the 61st International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival.
During the visit, Ramazan Yakut, the director of the film and student of the Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, Ramazan Yakut, the advisor of the film, Research Assist. Assist. Mehmet Oğuz Yıldırım and the Dean of the Faculty of Communication, Prof. Dr. Muharrem Çetin, were present at the visit.
During the visit, Ramazan Yakut and the film advisor, Assist. Assist. Mehmet Oğuz Yıldırım gave information about the film and stated that the work on the project aims to contribute to the cinema and the art world and thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the film.
Dean of the Faculty of Communication, Prof. Dr. Muharrem Çetin, emphasized that such projects are precious for the development of students and stated that they will always support artistic achievements as a faculty. Prof. Dr. Çetin also thanked our Rector for the support and contributions provided by our University.
In his speech, our Rector stated that the national and international achievements of the students are of great value to Kastamonu University. Emphasizing that art and cinema are essential fields for young people to discover their talents and express themselves, our Rector said that as a university, the support they give to such projects would increase.
