Erdal Arslan, President of the Kastamonu Branch of Birlik Foundation, and board of directors members visited our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, in his office on 1 November 2024.
During the visit, along with the projects carried out by the Birlik Foundation in education and culture, information was given about the Ârif Nihat Asya Poetry Writing Competition organized by the foundation.
President Erdal Arslan stated that the competition aims to increase literary and cultural awareness among young people and keep national values alive through poetry. The competition offers a vital platform to increase literary awareness among young people throughout Kastamonu. Arslan invited all students to participate in this meaningful competition after giving detailed information about the participation conditions and awards.
Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal expressed his satisfaction with the visit and emphasized that he was happy to support such artistic and cultural activities. Our Rector said that Kastamonu University encourages its students to participate actively in academic achievements and cultural and creative fields.
The meeting ended with mutual goodwill, wishes for future cooperation, and a souvenir photo taken in memory of the day.
