ErasmusDays events organized by Kastamonu University Erasmus Coordinators started with an information meeting held on 16 October 2024 at the Central Library Sezai Karakoç Hall. The events were organized to increase the recognition of the Erasmus+ Programme and encourage participation.
At the information meeting, which students participated in, Erasmus Institution Coordinator Dr. Süleyman Çite explained in detail the student and staff mobility opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme. Çite underlined the program's advantages in terms of international experience and academic development.
After Çite, Ayça Çolak and Şerife Nur Özcan, students from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, shared their learning mobility experiences within the scope of the Erasmus program and informed our students about the process.
After the meeting, students had the opportunity to learn more about Erasmus projects at the stand set up by the Erasmus Coordination Office in front of the Central Dining Hall. Students who visited the stands also benefited from the refreshments offered by the Coordination Office.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan also visited the stands and met with the students. Our Rector stated that the Erasmus program makes significant contributions to the academic and social development of students. As for the university administration, he said that they support students' participation in international projects.
Erasmus Day's activities ended in the evening with the Sertan Özer and DJ Nail concert held in the event area of the university. The concert, which was organized with the intense participation of our students, provided an enthusiastic completion of the event.
