Dr. Mehmet Duman, President of the World Academy of Local Government and Democracy Foundation (WALD), and Board Member Av. Arb. Emin Canacankatan visited our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal on 3 October 2024. Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Orhan Kandemir and Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Omca Altın also took part in the visit.
Prof. Dr. Duman gave information about WALD's goals in strengthening local governments and improving democratic processes. Our Rector, on the other hand, evaluated the work of our university in this field and the opportunities for cooperation.
