Our Rector, Prof. Dr Ahmet Hamdi Topal, hosted Prof. Dr Tursunbaev Zhanbolot Zhanyshovich, Rector of Osh University of Technology of Kyrgyzstan, and the accompanying delegation on July 3, 2024.
Kastamonu University General Coordinator for External Relations Assoc. Prof. Dr Öztürk Akçaoğlu and the Osh University of Technology Vice-Rector for External Relations, Prof. Dr Akmataliev Asanbek Turgunbaevich, were also present at the meeting.
Following the meeting, where potential areas of cooperation and joint projects between the two universities were discussed, a cooperation protocol was signed between the two universities, including student and staff exchange, organizing joint events and conducting project studies. The signed protocol is aimed at students and academic staff to gain experience and contribute to joint scientific studies.
Expressing his pleasure to cooperate with the Osh University of Technology, Rector Prof. Dr Ahmet Hamdi Topal stated that the cooperation with the signed protocol would contribute to the academic efficiency of our University and the global perspective of students and academic staff. It thanked Rector Zhanyshovich for his visit and cooperation.
Prof. Dr Zhanyshovich, Rector of Osh University of Technology, thanked our Rector for his interest and hospitality and expressed his pleasure to cooperate with Kastamonu University and stated that they believe that such cooperation will increase the cultural and academic experiences of students and academicians and that joint projects and exchange programs will be fruitful for both universities. The meeting ended with taking a souvenir photo in memory of the day.

Our Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr Ömer Küçük, accompanied them during the visit.
