The year-end exhibition was prepared by the students of the Department of Ceramics and Glass of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of our University, who met with art lovers at the Art Gallery in the Central Library of our University on June 5, 2024. The exhibition presented 72 works of 20 students to the audience.
The exhibition organization of the event was undertaken by Prof. Dr. Seyhan Yılmaz, Head of the Department of Ceramics and Glass, Faculty of Fine Arts. The opening of the exhibition was held with the participation of Kastamonu Governor Meftun Dallı, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, Kastamonu Provincial Mufti Bekir Derin, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan and many academic and administrative staff and students.
Prof. Dr Seyhan Yılmaz, who made the event's opening speech, shared the excitement of bringing together the works that the students have worked intensively all year long with art lovers and thanked all the academicians who supported the event and the guests who attended the opening.
Meftun Dallı, Governor of Kastamonu, emphasized the importance of the event and stated that such events, where students of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of our University can exhibit their creativity, contribute to the city culture. Emphasizing the importance of art and artists, Governor Meftun Dallı expressed that he valued the efforts of the students and thanked everyone who contributed to the organization of the event.
After the opening speeches, the exhibition was opened, and the audience examined 72 works of art by the students, which were shaped with various techniques and different themes. The works attracted significant interest from art lovers.
