Kastamonu University achieved significant success in the “Inspiring Public Administration Project Awards” at the 24th Public Quality Symposium organised by the Turkish Quality Association (KALDER) Ankara Branch on April 30, 2024. Our university competed in the “university” category in the “Inspiring Public Administration Awards” of 2024 with the “Model for Transforming Technological Infrastructure and R&D Outputs into Sustainable Development in Different Community Layers through Specialized Entrepreneurship” project, which has been successfully carried out for three years with both its outputs and participatory structure by the Enterprise Valley Incubation Center within Kastamonu Teknokent and supported by the Specialization Coordinatorship.
At the award ceremony, our university received great appreciation from the jury members for its innovative and sustainable project and was awarded the “Inspiring Public Administration Project Award.”. Kastamonu University and the project studies at the award ceremony attracted great attention and praise from Kalder management and independent jury members.
Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal and Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük and Prof. Dr. Kasım Yenigün also attended the ceremony.
In his speech while receiving the award, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, said that Kastamonu University is a family, that success is the shared success of all of us, and that this award both pleases us and increases our motivation.
Our Rector also emphasised that it is significant that this comprehensive project carried out in Kastamonu conditions was deemed worthy of an award by a national independent organisation and among many successful project applications, and that it is an indicator of how successful Kastamonu University has a team and vision among specialised universities.
