Under the leadership of the Kastamonu University Young Red Crescent Student Community, the “Ramadan Festival” event was organised with the participation of student communities and students registered in the Department of Health, Culture, and Sports.
Held on April 4, 2024, at the Central Dining Hall and Ayyıldız Sports and Life Center, the event consisted of two separate parts: the iftar program and sports competitions.
Our Rector Prof.Dr.Ahmet Hamdi Topal, Vice Rectors Prof.Dr.Kasım Yenigün, Prof.Dr.Ömer Küçük, and Prof.Dr.Mehmet Atalan, as well as Turkish Red Crescent Kastamonu Provincial President Sabit Tavil, business people, and guests attended the event and expressed their pleasure to come together with students and share the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan.
Our Rector emphasized that Ramadan is an abundant period in which solidarity and solidarity are experienced at the highest level and wished all students a healthy and peaceful Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
With the evening call to prayer, iftar dinner was served, and students came together with live music to share unity and solidarity in the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan.
After the first part of the program, competitions in various sports branches, such as volleyball, basketball, football, tennis, table tennis, and bowling, were organized at Ayyıldız Sports and Life Center, and students competed fiercely.
In addition to the competitions, a music event was organized, and students had fun with the music rhythm while doing sports.
